Optimization of Electricity Costs during Construction
Fuchs, Marek ; Pelčák, Svatopluk (referee) ; Nový, Martin (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the problem of electric energy utilization during the construction realization. The theoretical part elaborates the topics of construction project management and fundamental methods of construction price determination. Moreover, it explains the topic of construction site equipment and describes the employment and the expensiveness of the electric energy on the construction site. The practical part of the diploma thesis shows confrontation of the theoretical background with practical use. A detailed description of the total costs of electric energy was calculated based on the study of model building. The main objective of the thesis was to characterize the influence of the electricity price variation on the total expense of the construction and proposes the optimization of the electric energy cost.
The Analysis of Factors Affecting Electricity Consumption
Seiml, Jan ; Mařica, Lukáš (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to describe the course of consumption of electricity. One of the feasible ways of description is statistical analysis, which enables to calculate statistically significant factors and their combinations that contributed to the course of consumption of electricity. These factors may be used for modulation of future electricity consumption, and therefore also for long-time prediction. The second chapter discusses the expansion of electricity usage in the Czech Republic from the turn of the 19th century until nowadays. The chapter describes the development of transmission system, development of electricity consumption in the sectors of the national economy, possibilities of using electric energy, and overall balance of electricity and sources of energy. The third chapter presents an overview of usage and consumption of electrical energy in the neighboring European countries as well as in the most interesting countries of the World. The fourth chapter contains statistical analysis. The first part of the chapter details a list of the analyzed quantities of individual consumptions, of the investigated factors, and the analyzed countries. Further, the chapter explains the method of statistical analysis via using simple and multiple regression and its subsequent application and evaluation for the Czech Republic and the others European countries. According to the result, it is GDP that has the main impact on the trends in the course of consumption of electricity. However, it is necessary to consider other factors influencing the consumption of electricity, too, and not rely solely on GDP in terms of long-time prediction of electricity consumption. The fifth chapter discusses the reduction of electricity consumption and savings, which can be both political and macroeconomic result. Quantification of savings is not always unequivocal and any cost-saving actions can lead to an increase in electricity consumption, which can, in effect, be bigger than any possible savings.
Energy performance of wastewater treatment plants
Čížová, Barbora ; Bogáňová, Ida (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The retrieval part of the bachelorś thesis deals with legislation concerning energy audit and energy audit processing at wastewater treatment plants. Further work is aimed at assessing the energy performance, energy optimization and operation of energy self-sufficiency wastewater treatment plants. The practical part is focused on the comparison of the specific energy consumption for wastewater treatment in Koprivnice. The aim is to assess the energy performance of the selected indicators. This is an assessment of the m3 of waste water, kg BOD5 removed and the number of population equivalent.
Measurement of remote device power consumptions
Michalík, Lukáš ; Matěj, Zdeněk (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
Thesis is focused on the digital measurement of power consumption and distribution the measured results to the remote monitoring center over computer network. The appli- cation is designed for monitoring of active elements computers network.
Energy balance of urban wastewater treatment plants
Čížová, Barbora ; Bartoník, Adam (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The research part of the diploma thesis is focused on an issue of energy consumption in sludge treatment at wastewater treatment plants divided by the number of population equivalent. The aim of the practical part is to set indicators and propose evaluative criteria concerning energy performance of urban wastewater treatment plants. The verification of proposed criteria and energetic analysis result from data of the wastewater treatment plant in Novy Jicin.
Reconstruction of the pre-station area in Havířov
Fojtík, Ondřej ; Mikulová, Kateřina (referee) ; Nový, Martin (advisor)
Diploma thesis focuses on the reconstruction of the forecourt area in the city of Havířov. The theoretical part clarifies the concept of project management and its fundamental principles, addressing requirements for construction site equipment and the construction schedule. In the practical section, theoretical knowledge is applied, presenting the reconstruction project itself with a detailed description of its progression. An essential component is the proposal for construction site equipment, including cost estimation, along with the calculation of electricity and water consumption costs. The goal of the thesis is to compare real components of the project with alternative solutions, with an emphasis on potential savings in terms of finances and time.
Power Systems Ranges of Main Parameters
Řehořek, Tomáš ; Gála, Michal (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with description of the power system, parameters of it’s components and the range of outputs and consumption. In the first part the structure of the power system is described as well as the fundamental division of electric grids. In this part the work also touches on the ways of supllying the elctric traction. Furthermore the amount of production and consumption is mentioned. In the second part this work focuses on description of selected components of the power system and their real parameters. Furthermore the work also touches on the matter of electromobility and battery energy storage systems. In the last part of this work a few simple methods of consumption estimation are presented. This work also includes two infografics, that describe the power system.
Graphic Description of Electric Energy System in Selected Areas
Šácha, Tomáš ; Fiala, Zbyněk (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with graphical description of power system for selected areas. Based on publicly available materials and materials provided by E.ON Distribuce, a.s., a graphic description of electricity consumption and performance of selected cities, municipalities and power lines are created. The thesis describes the structure of the power system and its main parameters, including the distribution of networks in terms of their arrangement. It also contains information on the selected municipality from the data provided by the Czech Statistical Office. Graphically processed consumption values, both selected cities and municipalities, as well as selected areas and also electric traction vehicles are shown.

Small scale photovoltaic power plant
Hamerský, Tomáš ; Škorpík, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is the design of a small photovoltaic power plant for family house using a heat pump. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides a basic view of individual concepts connected with the photovoltaic power plant, where the individual concepts and principles of each device combined with operation are briefly described. The practical part is focused on determination of the energy balance for family house in the form of electricity and heat, as well as the incident solar radiation in the location of the object for fixed and positioning systems. In a conclusion, there is a determination of the individual variants of the photovoltaic system in order to determine the optimal variant.
